- Master Tournament: ELO > =1850 (Standard fee € 55, reduced-price fee € 50 for women, over 60 and under 18, free registration for GM and IM)

- National Tournament: ELO< 2000 (standard fee € 55, reduced-price fee € 50 for women, over 60 and under 18)

- Beginner Tournament: ELO < 1500 (minimum 10 competitors, fee € 40)

- Junior U16 Tournament (minimum 10 competitors, fee € 15, valid for the qualification at Junior U16 Italian Championship 2016)

Women’s Italian Championship

Participation as per regulation – fee for all € 9.

Registrations after 3rd of July will be increased of € 10.

90’ for 40 moves + 30’ to the end of the game + 30’’ of increase per move from the first one.

BEGINNERS – JUNIOR U16

90’ + 30’’ of increase per move from the first one.

Pairing according to Swiss system; Play-off system: Bucholz Fide Cut1, Bucholz Fide Total, ARO.

Only for Master Tournament, play-off system Bucholz Fide Total is before in order Bucholz Fide Cut1.

Referees decisions are final.

Tolerance time for latecomer: 60 minutes.

FESTIVAL

All Italian and foreign players can take part in the Festival if they satisfy the requirements provided for in the Federal Technical Regulation in force at the start date of the tournament.

All Italian and foreign players who are resident in Italy must show their FSI membership card 2015 (or subscribe it at the tournament venue) or the respective membership card of their National Federation.

FIDE and FSI ELO variations are regulated by FIDE and FSI rules in effect at the time of the tournament.

For all matters not included in the present regulations, International FIDE Rules in force at the time of the event will be applied.

The registration to the tournament implies the unconditioned acceptance of all terms and conditions of the present regulation. The organizer reserves the right to make any changes, if requested, in order to ensure the success of the event.

The enrollment to the event implies participants’ consent to the processing of personal data for organizational issues and for the publication on the official site of the tournament and on chess websites, in the Press or through any other means of communication of both personal details (name, surname, photo, videos, category, ELO) and results obtained. Implicitly parents give consent for their minor children.

In the game area smoking, using of electronic devices, and keeping mobile phone on is strictly forbidden.

The organizer will assume no liability for damages to persons or personal properties before, during and after the tournament.

JUNIOR U20 ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

It is open to girls and boys with a membership card under the age of 20, those born from 01.01.1995 onwards with one of the following 3 requirements: National 3rd or superior category; classification in the first six places of whatever age range of Montesilvano Junior U16 Italian Championship in year 2015; FIDE ELO score with inclusion on the Italian list of such classification.

The Junior U20 Italian Championship assigns the following titles:

• Italian U20 Junior champion

• Italian U18 Junior champion

WOMEN’S ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

It is open to woman players with a National 3rd or superior category or with FIDE ELO or if qualified by Regional Women’s Championship.

The final of the Women’s Italian Championship assigns the following titles:

• Italian woman champion

• Italian U20 woman champion

• Italian U18 woman champion
